Chilled-water systems depend on stable water flow, clean heat-transfer surfaces, accurate control-valve operation, and reliable pump performance. Even when the pumps, chillers, air-handling units, and control systems are correctly selected, trapped air and circulating debris can gradually reduce system performance.
